Summer at the cottage

At last warm days come. Green and blooming all around, and beyond the city stretches a caravan of cars, buses and electric trains - this is the numerous category of our fellow citizens, whose name is summer residents. Naturally, among them there are enthusiastic daughters-in-charge of future mothers, who in some grateful harvest can face some dangers. How to avoid them?

A sharp onset of exercise

The fact that most summer work starts in May means only one thing - and not only in the case of pregnancy: the organism, weakened by a long cold winter and a painful spring, suddenly suddenly changes the rhythm. Instead of leisurely rest after the usual work in the room - an active physical load in the fresh air, because the beginning of summer work - is primarily the clearance of the site, its preparation, digging beds, cleaning debris, washing windows and putting in order housing - furniture, walls, floors, dishes that have accumulated a lot of dust during the winter. I want so much that the country house brightens up quickly, and the first shoots become green on the beds.

And then all the forces rush to this process - to fatigue, to exhaustion, only to quickly fulfill the intended. This is where the first danger lies, and for future mothers at various stages of pregnancy, and especially to beware of those women whose pregnancy is just beginning.

For some reason it is widely believed that in the first weeks of pregnancy, while it is not yet manifesting itself, you can lead a normal life without reducing the load, but when the stomach is already visible, then you can be careful. This is a serious error. The fact is that in the first weeks, until the placenta was fully formed, the fetal egg is very fragile. Therefore, it is during this period that there is a threat of termination of pregnancy to a greater extent than in subsequent periods, which may be a result of excessive physical exertion. Of course, this is far from the only, but at the same time, important reason for miscarriages, so it is not just to restrict but to prohibit such dacha shares as an absolute ban, like bucket watering (even if it is a bucket in the singular), dragging manure and other fertilizers . This includes all attempts to climb the stairs - whether to cut trees on trees or to wash the windows: it is very easy to lose balance, and falling from the stairs and for a healthy man is fraught with unpleasant consequences. Especially - no jumping off the stairs, stools or windowsills: jumping is dangerous because of the severe shaking of internal organs, including the uterus, in the early stages of pregnancy, they can cause miscarriages, complicated by uterine bleeding.

It is not necessary to consider, that all these precautions concern only women on early terms of pregnancy. Jumps and sharp movements from the bottom to the top and vice versa have a negative effect on the "strength" of the attachment of the placenta to the wall of the uterus: thus, sudden jumping together with other negative factors (placental placental insufficiency, any environmental factors - low atmospheric pressure, etc.) can lead to partial detachment of the placenta.

In addition, under the influence of hormones produced during pregnancy, the entire ligamentous apparatus, including the ligament of the uterus, becomes more extensible, so do not abuse activities that require stress on the ligaments, lifts even some non-heavy things, slopes, high raised hands. In the opposite case, pain may occur.

Contact with organic and inorganic fertilizers, whatever they are useful for plants, is also contraindicated for a pregnant woman, since inhaled chemical compounds have a toxic effect on the body of mother and baby.

The only entertainment activities for pregnant women are washing dishes, easy cleaning, preparing meals for household members and discussing with them species for harvest. The main principle - do not bring yourself to fatigue, even if it will be the most simple classes.

Cooling and overheating

The insidious May pleases with warmth, but sudden temperature changes are also possible, which must be foreseen, preparing clothes for the first summer cottages. It is necessary to have warm clothes with you, which protects not only from the cold, but also from the wind, since the open spaces outside the city are much more blurred than the built-up blocks of houses in the cities. In addition, when collecting at the dacha it is worth considering that the city's air temperature is always lower than in a city full of people and cars. If you suddenly feel that you are really frozen, you should take steps to avoid possible negative consequences: go to a heated room, drink hot tea, do not forget to take multivitamins for pregnant women.

Another obvious oversight, which is often remembered too late, is the freedom of movement from the house to the street, creating the illusion that one minute to jump out for one or another need from a warm home - it's easy, because you will immediately return to heat. It's not entirely safe. The contrast of temperatures does not allow the body to realize the real difference, so it often seems that the street is warmer than it really is, hence the possible hypothermia of the body; Moreover, during pregnancy, immunity is reduced. The consequences are neuralgia and colds.

Naturally, the above is followed by advice: do not run out into the street undressed and remember that the opportunity to pick up the notorious ORZ in the fresh summer air is no less than in a crowded city.

Travel to the dacha is a separate topic, and there are no guarantees of a safe and speedy arrival beyond the city for either the lucky owners of convenient personal transport or the democratic supporters of public transport. The first are trapped by endless traffic jams, intensifying on Friday evening in the direction of the city and on Sunday evening - into the city. The second - roaring crowds, storming buses and electric trains and not noticing anything around, including a pregnant woman at any time. A reasonable solution is to find an alternative time for trips to the dacha that does not coincide with the peak hours. If, however, it is impossible to do this for one reason or another, do not storm the train or bus with the dubious benefit to get to the dacha quickly, find the one that goes later, and then take a free seat there. Of course, the best way to know the schedule in advance is to feel free.

If you are stuck in a traffic jam, try periodically stretching your legs, pulling them in the car as far as possible. And remember that the open on the highway window lets in not the fresh air, but the eerie mixture of exhaust gases. And most importantly, do not panic, do not worry, just relax and if you are not driving, do something, for example read a book or make a manicure.

Communication with a doctor

Regardless of the period of pregnancy, when leaving the city, you must have a doctor's telephone number with you, which you can consult on the phone about any of the issues that concern you, is first of all. Secondly, it is necessary to know in advance the possibility of calling an ambulance to the dacha and to find out the location of the nearest hospital, where in case you will be able to help. If you already have an exchange card, take it with you so that all information about the course of pregnancy was available to the doctor if necessary.
