Alternative nutrition

Alternative nutrition

The most known forms of alternative nutrition are the following:

  • vegetarian food and raw food
  • high-grade food and raw food
  • Bircher-Benner system
  • macrobiotic nutrition (macrobiotic)
  • biopsies
  • Separate food

These forms of alternative nutrition in the narrow sense are not diets. More and more people are switching to these kinds of food and drink consumption. Growing anxiety over health, deteriorating environmental conditions and the developing industrialization of food production are some of the reasons for resorting to these already far from new, and long-used forms of nutrition. Not only environmentalists and the Green Party recognize them, but more and more young families choose for themselves.

In addition, there are many systems that for millennia are created by philosophers and doctors for healthy eating. It is extremely interesting to observe how in some exercises the "philosophical principle" takes precedence over "medical". Due to the fact that many systems ignore incontrovertible medical experience, they have become very vulnerable. We will briefly consider some forms of alternative nutrition without resorting to their practical analysis.

Vegetarian food and raw food

The idea to eat exclusively by plants and plant products has an inherently ethnic or religious motivation. It is based on the belief that a person has no right to kill an animal, because his soul moves into animals. This idea is inherent in many religions and comes from orthodox Hinduism. Today, for most vegetarians, this moral and religious aspect no longer lies at the basis of their nutrition. Rather, it hides the love of animals and the idea that vegetarian food is more healthy.

There are three forms of vegetarian cuisine:

  • Vegans: eating only plant foods
  • Lacto-vegetarians: consumption of only vegetable and dairy foods
  • Ovo-lakto-vegetarians: vegetable, dairy and eggs

Vegetarian cuisine is a philosophy of life in which you can often find the features of sectarianism. Vegetarians cook with love, joy and an open heart. Therefore, their dishes are endowed with such vitality.

Vegetarians often prefer raw food. But if they cook it, the favorite form for cooking is a sauté pan in which the food is fried with repeated shaking. Was recognized by vegetarians and frying pan Vok.

Vegetarian cuisine uses all vegetables, fruits, dried fruits, nuts, seeds and grains, pasta and rice. If you are lactovegetarian, then on your table there is a place for cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt and kefir. As fats vegetable oils are used. Dishes can be filled with rice or corn flour.

Soya

A special role in vegetarian food, as well as more and more in the ordinary kitchen, is soy. It refers to leguminous crops and is similar to common shrub beans. Grain of soy contains about 40% protein and about 20% fat. Soybean is made from soybean oil, which serves most of the world's population as a source of fat, both in the form of vegetable oil and as a basis for the production of margarine. From the waste from the production of oil, soybean meal and soy flour, as well as soybean meal, are obtained.

From soybeans, you can prepare a variety of products:

  • soy meat from soy flour
  • soy milk from boiled and squeezed soybeans
  • soy cottage cheese (tofu) from soy milk and acidulants
  • soy cream from soya milk
  • soy mayonnaise from soya milk
  • soy sauce made from fried soybeans, grains and spices
  • soybean puree from soy flour

Of these products, which can be bought in many stores, a variety of vegetarian dishes are prepared.

In principle, you can not say anything against vegetarian cuisine. True, it is rather difficult for vegetarians to consume all the vital nutrients in the right combination.

High-grade food

Everything that a person uses for food can be considered using a system of adequate nutrition. All products have their value, which is determined not only by the ingredients, but by the origin, production, storage, production and way of preparation.

Full nutrition is considered when the body receives in full all the nutrients it needs for metabolism. There is no need to monitor this daily. It is enough to adhere to this supreme principle in a certain period of time.

High-grade food

  • all food should be as natural as possible
  • one third of fresh products and two thirds of cooked products
  • five small meals
  • should prevail grain products, vegetables, fruits, potatoes, legumes, milk and dairy products, nuts
  • once a week - fish, at least once a week do without meat
  • there are only fresh products or slightly damped, fresh foods should always be the first dish
  • for salads use only vegetable oil
  • use only spices and herbs as seasonings
  • consume 2 liters of fluid per day

Against such principles of nutrition there is nothing to argue. Anyone who adheres to these rules, eats reasonably and is unlikely to harm his health.

Birhera-Benner system

Recommendations on the diet of the founder of this exercise, the Swiss doctor, are a cross between vegetarian cuisine, raw food and a full-fledged diet.

So, for breakfast it is necessary to eat exceptionally raw food, better muesli "Birkher", named after their inventor, which consist of oat flakes, honey, nuts and fruits. After breakfast you can drink a glass of milk. For lunch - salads, boiled vegetables and fresh fruit.

Twice a week it is allowed to eat meat, every day - a glass of lemon juice. Dinner is similar to breakfast, only instead of milk you can drink a glass of tea with rose hips.

Macrobiotic nutrition (macrobiotic)

This is a relatively old teaching on how to comprehend the art of living long. Prevention of harmful environmental effects is one of the basic rules of macrobiotic nutrition, which is based on the following principles:

  • the content of ballast substances at each meal should be at least 50%
  • the share of raw vegetables and fruits during one meal is 30%
  • do not eat meat, milk and dairy products
  • do not consume sugar
  • use only sea salt
  • It is forbidden to warm up vegetables, beans, porridge and fish

Bio-, or ékopisha

The bio-food is now in vogue: for a short period of its existence, it has affected wide sections of the population around the world. Counters of Russian stores are also gradually filled with bioproducts.

Ecological agriculture rejects the mechanized destruction of weeds and relies on removing them manually. Pest control is carried out by biological, not chemical means. The fact that this form in price terms can not withstand competition with traditional industrial agriculture, is evident to everyone. Nevertheless, more and more families around the world are prepared to put up with higher prices for bio and organic products, because they are aware that this choice is a guarantee of their own health and the health of their children.

Bio-, or ékopisha,

Separate food

Separate food not enough physiological and weaning from the consumption of "normal" mixed food.

Russian School of Dietetics

The selection of power systems does not pretend to be full of lighting, but demonstrates their diversity. Some of them are more or less understandable, while others are so strange that they can hardly be trusted. The systems are chosen arbitrarily, their authors are indicated, the sequence of the selection is also chosen arbitrarily and is not a sign of any preferences.

Weight Diet

Professor NM Asomov, the founder of this food system, completely abandoned the tables of caloric content of products. Instead, he recommends using weights. It is forbidden to eat everything fried and consume salt. Meat is allowed to eat very rarely. In addition, according to the rules of this diet, a person should not eat for future use. Irregular eating is considered healthy.

Gastrointestinal Diet

This diet of Professor B. V. Bolotov is characterized by four principles:

  • Digestion should occur due to the consumption of cellulose (vegetables, fruits, grains and nuts)
  • Slags are removed by the introduction of acids
  • Salt is excreted from the body thanks to spices and herbs
  • Bacteria are destroyed by lactic acid and berries
Diet changes

Natural healer VF Vostokov propagandizes diversity in nutrition. A lot of medicinal, forest and garden plants in his varied diet preserve health - such is his conviction.

Pyramidal diet

This diet, founded by Yu. P. Guschko, a well-known author of a number of scientific books, is something between a full-fledged and a vegetarian diet. According to Yu.P. Gusho, there is a so-called basic diet, which should consist of cereals, legumes, nuts and seeds. From each successive step of the pyramid, a person needs to be taken less and less. Here are the individual steps of his pyramid:

  • Cereals, legumes, nuts, seeds
  • Vegetables, herbs, roots
  • fruit
  • Meat
  • A fish
  • Milk, honey
  • Beverages
Diet of the natural cycle

Author of the diet A. Suvorin is a relic from the XIX century. He believes in the power of the sun and chlorophyll. The most important thing in nature, from his point of view, is a plant. People and animals eat them. Since the sun exerts a greater influence on the growth of plants than on the development of animals, people should eat, above all, vegetarian food.

Seasonal Diet

Seasonal Diet Г. С.

Foreign School of Dietetics

It should be briefly mentioned on some foreign diets. Perhaps, their selection is not ideal, but shows their diversity. Diets are given in random order to avoid their evaluation.

Starvation

The doctor and natural healer G. Benjamin is an ardent defender of the hungry diet. According to him, starvation cleanses the body. The fasting periods should last from 5 to 30 days. At this time only drink is allowed: water, vegetable and orange juice.

Combined food

P. Bregg, a doctor and specialist in the extension of life, as he called himself, is also a supporter of starvation. Starting any diet, a person, in his opinion, must first starve, and then slowly start eating. But only natural food is allowed. In addition, you can drink only distilled water, and fresh air and sun contribute to the effectiveness of any diet.

Natural foods should be as varied as possible. It is necessary to combine food products: vegetables with fruits, herbs with nuts, etc.

Phaseic diet

H. and M. Daimon, researchers of the human body, put forward a revolutionary thesis: they are against diet in any form, but advocate for natural food. And that's interesting: for a healthy diet a person must observe three phases within a day. The first phase is devoted to eating. It can last from 12 to 20 hours. The second phase lasts from 20 to 4 hours and is caused by the process of digestion. Next - from 4 to 12 h followed by a phase of excretion.

Diet of four enemies

M. Goren, a well-known Israeli physician, who treats with the forces of nature, is of the opinion that a person could live longer if he followed a balanced diet of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. It is important that a person ate a little and that his food was rich in vitamins and minerals. The idea of such a diet in Goren emerged when he studied the food of the people who inhabited Central Asia and which can be considered the ancestors of the Huns.

According to Goren, the four enemies of health are:

  • Constipation
  • Sugar
  • Drugs, tobacco and alcohol
Diet Vangi

The Bulgarian healer Wangga puts forward to a healthy diet a few reasonable requirements:

  • Do not eat too much
  • Only white food
  • Herbal tea and water
  • Low Fat
  • Less meat
  • Only boiled vegetables
  • A lot of vegetables
